From Caelum, the land of air. These are the winged creatures. They come in any color, so long as it is possible within the base breed. Their wings are large and bird-like, usually spanning about the same length in feet as the wielder is tall (i.e. a 16hh horse would have a wing span of about 16 feet). Foals are born with awkward, small wings. However, the grow quite quickly and the foal should be able to fly between one and two years of age. A Pegasus will run on the slightly larger side, but smaller types are not uncommon. The bone structure of a Pegasus is somewhat lighter than your average equine, though that does not make them any less strong.

From Ignis, the land of fire. These are the horned creatures. Unlike your fairy tale unicorn, these unicorns come in all different colors, though the same rules apply as with the Pegasus. Your standard unicorn comes in any color with a straight and/or spiraled horn. On occasion you will see one with a horn that will twist off in any direction, with a disposition to match. Most horns will grow around one to two feet long, but it is not unknown to see a unicorn with a horn up to four feet long. The foolish ones, or brave in some cases, are marked with broken horns that will never grow back. A unicorn range from being small, pony sized to large, draft size, but are typically on the average to smaller side.

From Lacuna, the land of water. These are the sea creatures. They aren't quite like your typical lore. They do not prey on children, though they do enjoy a good game of "catch and release". They enjoy spending a lot of their time in the water, and their smooth seal-like fur makes them stand out from the others. They have gills at the back of their jaws, along their throatlatch, and despite how they are built, they are quite good swimmers. The only downfall is that if they stay from the water for too long, especially on hot days, their skin will begin to dry up. Severe cases of lack of water will result in the skin cracking and peeling, resulting in something that looks somewhat like severely chapped lips.

From Jacinto, the land of earth. These are essentially your "normal" horses. They have nothing special about them; no horns, no wings, to gills. Just a standard horse of course, the lessers. Often looked down upon for being so plain, the norms are usually looked over. They linger within their woods and watch the foolishness of the others. The norms come in any breed, any color, and just about any height. When they have been mutated, you will often find them with abnormalities such as cloved hooves, lion tails, or antlers. These mutated horses are the ones that stand out among the norms.

From Umbra, the land of spirit. These are the creatures of mixed blood. They tend to be shunned by the pure blooded creatures and are often seen as tainted or impure, as freaks. They can be seen with elements from both of their parents, just one or the other, or none at all. They can have a mix of horns, wings, scales, possibly mutations, or nothing if they have a norm parent. There are even times when a hybrid may be mistaken for a pure blood, and some enjoy the fact that they can hide among the pure this way. [/blockquote]
