G E N E R A L ; ;
- Following Proboard's TOS, you must be 13 or older to join Wicked. If we find out that you have joined before you are 13, you will be banned until then. Once you turn 13, you are welcome to rejoin us.
- There is a 150 post minimum when in character. Pretty simple really.
- Cussing is allowed in-character, but keep it to a minimum. Please also try to keep it PG-13 when out of character. We don't want to hear your dropping an F-bomb every other word.
- If the admin tells you to do something, do it. What admin says is law. If there is a big problem, it will be passed along to Zsadist who will make the final decision.
- Treat others as you wish to be treated. As Thumper said, "If you can't say nothing nice, don't say nothing at all."
- Chatspeak [hi, how r u?], fighting, and offensive pictures are not allowed. You will be warned the first time, then automatically deleted after a second time. We will allow some chatspeak such as lol, omg, brb, etc., but only out of character.
- All posts must be size 1 font. It helps things look more neat, and we like neat.
- Signatures must be no wider than 500px! We will ask you to change your signature if it is bigger than our limit. The second time it will be deleted.
- No Power Playing, no God-Modeling. Duh. We understand when it happens by accident, but if you repeatedly do it on purpose, three strikes and you're out. The only time it is allowed is when all related members agree to it.
- If you want to get all hot'n'heavy, please take it elsewhere as I do not wish to get this site deleted. Everything done at this site must remain PG-13 or less.
- All speaking must be done in bold or "quotes" or both (or similar - say another color), if you wish. Just make sure you designate speaking from general text.
- We do have liquid time here. Liquid time is a role-playing device which allows one to post their character in multiple threads at once, that way your character won't be stuck in one place forever. Now, with this being said, it is okay to have a character in four threads at a time, maximum. Anything over that is a little ridiculous.
- Threads must be posted as so:
title here [open]
-or-
title here [name]
C H A R A C T E R S ; ;
- Only one account per person.
- You may be more than one character, but all must be active. Un-active characters will be sent to Inferni Ianuam. Unwanted characters will be moved to the adoptions. Canons and Royals may not be adopted out. PM admin with more information if you would like to get rid of yours.
- No one is perfect, therefore your character cannot be. That means no Mary Sue characters.
- When applying for a character, please post with just the name as the title/subject. Nothing else! If you're posting in the unfinished applications board, you don't need to put WIP in the name. We know it's a WIP because it's in the board. If fact, just don't do it at all.
- Please check the list of mythical/made-up breeds for which you wish to be. It's just a general guide for what we have and what your character might be like if you were to choose that certain species. You do not have to follow that guide to a T.
- You will also have to pick a breed in which your character has descended from, i.e. Thoroughbred, Mustang, Arabian, etc. Keep in mind that certain breeds can only be certain colors. Do you research before you choose. We might be a mostly-mythical site, but we're trying to keep the base somewhat realistic.
- When you choose a height for your equine, please keep in mind the breed you choose. I doubt your Mustang or Arabian is going to be 17hh. Likewise, there is no such thing as a 16.5hh horse. It goes 16hh, 16.1hh, 16.2hh, 16.3hh, 17hh. Got it? Check the Approved Breeds & Guidelines for what your breed stardard is.
- When choosing coat color, markings, eye color etc., keep in mind what your breed does and does not allow. You're not going to have an Arabian that's cremello or Tobiano, nor will your Friesian have blue eyes, unless they are crossed at least 1% with something else. You can see what is allowed in the Approved Breeds & Guidelines.
- For every Hybrid you create, you must have two purebreds. So, if your first character is a Hybrid, then your next two must be Unicorn, Pegasus, Kelpie or Norm. We're trying to keep the breeds somewhat even here.
- Please be patient while waiting for your character to be accepted. If it is denied, admin will list the reason and what you can do to fix your application in order for it to be accepted.
- Your character's aging is up to you, but please keep in mind that they will not stay young forever unless they become immortal during that time, and the same goes for aging too quickly. It would probably be best to go by the schedule Wicked is set on (one year = four months).
- Keep in mind the limitations of certain breeds, as well as what things your character may have or may not have unless you purchase it from the store.
- You will have one week to finish your application after you start it. It will be moved to Inferni Ianuam afterwards, where you may request to have it moved back once. From then you will have three days to finish. The second move to Inferni Ianuam will be permanent.
[/li][li]After you create your character, you must create them a log. This is mandatory before you are allowed to post. The title must be their name only, and only one log per character. It will help staff to organize everything.[/li][/ul]
C A N O N S ; ;
Opening soon! Check out this link for more info.
- Canons are pre-made characters that are essential to our plot. The Canons of Wicked are the Seven Sins, who may be tried out for when they are open.
- Canons are either open for tryouts/limited or closed. Please do not apply when they are closed, you won't get it. Probably ever. Limited means only certain Canons are open for tryout.
- Each post for a canon must be an average of 500-1,000 words or more. A 400 word count is the lowest that will be allowed, as long as it doesn't happen all the time. If you claim a canon and cannot keep up with something as simple as that, the canon will be given to someone else who can. We don't want our important characters being half-assed.
- They are labeled by name and who plays them. When they are open for tryouts, a new post will be created for those who are interested to respond to. Please follow the rules on the post.
- The Seven Sins are immortal, but they are not invulnerable. That means, yes, they may be killed. Once they are dead, however, they will be reincarnated and will be placed up for tryout again. If you had a Sin before and they were killed, you are welcome to try for them, or another, again. Each Sin is marked with their own symbol. That marking is always located in the same place, even though the horse may look completely different when reincarnated.

G O D S & G O D D E S S E S ; ;
- The Gods and Goddesses of Wicked are also known as the Elements. They are our in-character mod positions, and are to be treated accordingly. Do not ask for one of these positions.
- The Elements are both immortal and invulnerable. Each has power over a specific element; spirit (embodies darkness and light), fire, water, earth, air. In the eyes of the living (including the Sins), they are seen as Gods and Goddesses, as stated above. Again, they are to be treated accordingly. Keep in mind that these are in-character moderator positions. They have the right to discipline and/or rid of your character if necessary (killing off a naughty character will probably require some rule-breaking on your part and permission from admin). An Element can rid of a Sin, if necessary.
- If an Element position is abused, the player will be stripped of their moderator position and will no longer be able to play their Element and will likely never be trusted to play a character of importance again. If the offense is severe enough, it's possible that the player may be temporarily or permanently banned as well.

R O Y A L S ; ;
- Royals are descendents of either one of the five Elements or one of the Seven Sins. Descendants of Elements may have minor control over an element if Admin bestows it upon them (will be determined by random generation at birth/may be gifted later). Descendants of Elements also have a very rare chance of being immortal or invulnerable. Sin descendants have a very rare chance of being immortal. Otherwise immortality or invulnerability may be purchased from the store.
- Ways to obtain a Royal:
-Purchased from the store.
-Breeding from a Royal/Mortal. 10% chance for abilities.
-Breeding from a Royal/Royal. 15% chance for abilities.
-Breeding from a Sin. 20% chance for abilities. 10% chance of immortality.
-Breeding from a Elemental. 25% chance for abilities. 10% chance of immortality/invulnerability.
-Won from a contest.
B R E E D I N G ; ;
- Horses may breed at the age of 3.
- Mares must wait a month, real life time, before foaling.
- Zsadist will choose the stats of the foals (don't worry, they won't be completely random, genetics and random generation rule here). You may wish for certain stats, but that does not guarantee that you will get them unless you purchase that item from the store. If you do so, you may choose the stats with approval from Zsadist.
- When your mare has been bred, fill out the forms in the breeding sub-board, under character creation. Both the mare and stallion will need to fill out a form.
- Your stats will come within the week if the breeding is successful.
- Mated pairs will have a 100% success rate.
- Unmated pairs will have a 75% success rate.
- Forced breedings will have a 50% success rate.
[/li][li]Mortal horses age 20 and older will have a 25% less success rate than normal.
[/li][li]When two Elementals or two Sins breed, a homozygous Royal will result, but the same chances stand.
[/li][li]A breeding of Royal/Mortal will result in a heterozygous foal if the chances are in favor.
[/li][li]Twins will only be had if that item is purchased from the store. Rolling twins is very rare. If twins are rolled, then the survival rate will also be rolled.
[/li][li]Force breeding may only be done in the proper board (Captivitas) and must be done with player permission. The mare will be given the opportunity to fight back, though in a general sense, stallions are stronger than mares. Rolling a dice will determine the result. 1-4 makes a successful force-breeding, 5-6 will be unsuccessful.[/li][/ul]
C L A I M I N G H O R S E S; ;
- Claims may only be made in Captivitas.
[/li][li]Stallions may claim mares. Mares may not claim stallions.
[/li][li]Fillies must be age two before they may possibly be claimed. Before that, the mother reserves the right to defend her foal.
[/li][li]Steals and claims may only be made once per week, per stallion. If a stallion has already had a mare stolen, wait another week before attempting another steal just to be kind.
[/li][li]When a mare is claimed, she will have the chance to flee if she wants. Rolling a dice will determine the result. 1-2 makes a successful flee, 3-6 will be unsuccessful. If the flee attempt is unsuccessful, the mare must remain with the stallion for at least a season (a month real life) before trying to flee again. However, another stallion may attempt to steal the mare away. The claiming stallion may also abandon the mare. The mare may also try to convince the/a stallion to do either.
[/li][li]When a mateship is made, it cannot be broken for a year Wicked time (four months real life). Two characters must have at least three completed posts together before a mateship can be made. Mates cannot be stolen.
[/li][li]Please don't become a claim-whore and try to claim every mare you come across. No one will like you for that.[/li][/ul]
C L A I M I N G L A N D; ;
- Both stallions and mares may claim land. However, when a lead mare takes a mate or a lead, the stallion will then take command.
- A stallion or mare may post to claim a certain land. The post must be in-character.
- A lead mare/stallion may rule one of the territories in a kingdom, i.e. Pahane, Valik, or Ciragidus (there are a total of fifteen). The Elements have say over Leads.
- Incantus and all of its territories, being neutral status and all, may not be claimed.
- You must have at least one follower before you can claim any land. The follower must agree in-character.
[/li][li]Once you claim a land by commenting in the appropriate post, you have one week to make your claiming post and comment in the land updates board. If you don't, someone else may come and claim it from you.
[/li][li]Leads must post at least twice per week or they will be demoted. No posts after a week will result in demotion. If you have posted a legitimate reason in the away board (say vacation, illness, etc.) then it is possible to be granted a longer post-leave. Herd members must post at least once per week. An inactive herd my be claimed by another after two weeks.[/li][/ul]
F I G H T I N G & C H A L L E N G I N G ; ;
- Stallions may fight for whatever they wish, be it mares, land or just because they feel like it. Fights do not need to be judged (except in the case of challenges for land), but it may be requested. Fights are allowed anywhere except for Incantus and its territories.
- If both players think they should win the fight, then Schatten will judge and declare a winner. Whatever he says goes, end of story. The more description you put into your fighting posts, the more likely you are to come out victorious in the end if Schatten needs to judge. Try to be realistic here!
- When a challenge is made, the opponent has three days to respond, just like with claiming. The winner will be determined by a point system.
- If your character gets hit during a fight or challenge, deal with it. An injury is an injury, and a death is a death. Powerplaying and god-moding is not allowed here. Nor do we want to hear your whine and complain. All you will get is some cheese and crackers to go with it. It will also make Schatten less-likely to choose you as the winner.
- If one player backs down or is killed in the challenge, they other player will obviously be the winner and judging will not be needed.
- Leads have three days to respond to a challenge for land. After those three days are up, the second in command has a chance to fight for the territory. They will have two days to respond. If the current lead or second in command do not respond, they will forfeit and the challenger will take his position and his harem as well. If the challenger wins, he may rearrange the order of things as he sees fit. Make sure you check the away board to see if the absence has a reason or not.
- The stallion you are attempting to steal a mare from has three days to respond, otherwise the mare is yours. Please check the away boards to check and see if the absence has a reason. See fighting rules for more info.
- All fights over mares or land, if not solved on their own (i.e. death or surrender), will be judged by Schatten. Do not try his patience or he may just decide to favor the opponent.
- Once a challenge for land has been made and completed, another may not be made for a month real life time.
C U R R E N C Y ; ;
- The currency of Wicked is the Philosopher's Stone. The main to way earn PS is to simply post! For every in-character post you make, you earn 10 PS!
- After you create your first character, you will earn 500 PS.
- There are post markers which may earn you 1000 PS each: 50, 100, 250, 500, 750, 1000, etc. That's a lot of PS!
- You may earn 50 PS per person you get to join Wicked. Make sure to have them message an Admin to say who sent them, otherwise you won't get your PS!
- A successful birth will earn each participating member 100 PS.
- You will receive 25 PS for adopting a character.
- Completing a thread will earn you (and all of the others in that thread) up to 25 PS. The thread will be checked by Admin or a Moderator for quality of posts and completeness. Make sure you (the person who started the thread) message an Admin or Moderator with the link to the thread. We won't sift through all of the active and inactive threads to find the completed ones. PS will be awarded based on the quality of the thread.
- Getting voted as member or character of the month will earn you 50 PS. This can be won every 6 months.
- TOTM will earn each member in the thread 50 PS.
- Winning a battle/challenge will earn you up to 100 PS. The battle will be observed by Schatten, and determined by a point system. He will assess the quality of the battle and calculate the points (out of 50) that will be determine the winner. The amount of points calculated for each participant will be the amount of PS awarded (take the total points and multiply it by two). If Schatten himself is one of the contestants in the battle, then another Admin or Mod will judge.
- Another way to earn points is by participating in contests. All participants will earn some points, but the winners will earn extra. the amount of PS earned depends on the specific contest.
- Lastly, there is the good deed award. If a Moderator spots you doing something so amazing that they think it deserves an award, then they can message admin to discuss the amount of points you will receive for whatever it is you have done.
- If Admin forgets to send you your Philosopher's Stones, you may send them a private message ONCE to remind them.
Note: The store is located in Epistegor.
